I need to find a GOOD contractor to renovate my bathroom I only have 10 weeks to do this in from today's date. I cannot find a GOOD contractor. We looked up a bunch in the yellow pages for Alliston ontario and you wouldn't believe the horror stories. I did contact the one that is registered on erenovate however he cannot do anything till september and as I mentioned I only have a 10 week window. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

To find a reliable contractor please post your project for free and contractors that service Alliston will respond to your project needs. However, before you start the search for a contractor, you might want to consider some important requirements of your municipality when renovating.
If you are changing the location of a door or building a new deck you will need a building permit. In order to get a building permit you will need a designer to produce drawings with the structural specifications of the materials and construction layout.
You as the homeowner can provide drawings of your own, however you will need to check the building code to ensure that your deck and the new door opening is created correctly.
You can contact your building department for guidance on the process or check with the Architectural Technologist Association for a designer. www.aato.on.ca
